Walls and your firm's dashboard
Why not just use my prop firm's dashboard?
Use it: its numbers are always the final word. But a dashboard tells you what has happened. Walls tells you what's about to: how much room you have with your open trades counted, what happens if a stop fills, and a message on your phone before a rule breaks, not after. It also tracks the fine print, several firms at once and your own trading plan. See the same session on both screens.
I'm disciplined. Why would I need this?
That's who it's built for. Disciplined traders still lose accounts to a rule they measured differently, a news window, a consistency rule, or one trade on the one bad day. Walls is there for that day. On good days you'll barely notice it.
Doesn't my firm already warn me?
Some show a red number once a limit is close or already broken. Few message you in time to act, and none know your own plan. Walls sends a Telegram message while there's still room, counting the trades you have open.
Is Walls just another trading journal?
The journal is one part. The core is live: distance to every rule that can end the account, alerts, and your plan checked on every trade. The journal and Discipline Score show how you trade over time.
What if Walls and my firm disagree?
Your firm is right. Firms change rules and some measure things in their own way, so every rule links to its source and you can adjust values for your account. Tell us, and we'll fix it for everyone.
Accounts and safety
Is Walls allowed by my prop firm?
Walls only reads your account with the investor password, the same view-only access firms use for their own dashboards, and it never trades. Rules differ by firm, so if you're unsure, ask your firm's support whether read-only monitoring by a third-party service is fine. Start with an account you're comfortable testing on.
Does Walls tell me what to trade?
No. Walls shows distances and arithmetic from your firm's rules. It never gives signals, entries or advice.
Is this copy trading?
No. Walls never places trades on any account. The overview adds up numbers across your accounts; it doesn't link or mirror them.
Where does my login go?
Your account number, investor password and server go once to MetaApi, the provider that runs a read-only MT5 terminal for your account. Walls doesn't store the password. Remove an account and its terminal is deleted.
How live is it?
The dashboard refreshes every 20 seconds. Alerts and the session record are checked every 2 minutes. If the data feed stops, the account is marked stale so you never trust old numbers.
Where do the rules come from?
From each firm's own rules pages, terms and FAQ. Rules on file were checked value by value. Firms you look up are read fresh, and you confirm the result before Walls uses it.
What if the rules are wrong?
Firms change rules. Every value links to its source, anything unconfirmed is labeled, and you can adjust any value for your account. The firm's current page always wins.
Which platforms work?
MetaTrader 5 today. cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker are planned.
What does it cost?
Free during the beta. Rule check stays free for everyone. See pricing for the plans we expect to launch with.
